This extra super-fine white merino is something rather special. Much finer than standard cashmere, it's perfect for those projects that need a little touch of luxury. If you've ever aspired to spinning your own yarn for a ring shawl then this is the wool for you.

Due to the qualities of this fibre we wouldn't suggest it for those who are new to spinning, as it may take a little time to get used to. If in doubt we always say to order 100gms and see how you get on... You can always come back for more!

If in fact you do get on well with it then 100gms will last a long time.

With great care it can be dyed with the Landscape dyes.

I use wingham wools as the micron is perfect for Eden Textiles and i can get the colours i prefer

Noticed The Difference

I recently bought some unspecified merino tops and then decided to challenge myself to spinning as fine as I could to make lace weight or finer. I then ordered merino tops from Wingham Wool 70s and 14 micron , what a difference . They are both noticeably finer and softer.
Cannot wait to get spinning, maybe cobweb is achievable.
