Manufactured by the clever folk of Belfest Mini Mills of Prince Edward Island,Canada, as far as we're aware this is the only unit currently in the UK. It's a great piece of kit and easily creates large pieces of hardwearing felt with absolutely minimum effort. Simply lay out your fibres, add a little warm water and set the machine going. The bottom bed moves independently and in no time at all produces a 36" x 48" felt pad. Alternatively you can lay out more complex designs and set the machine to work. The major advantage here is that the top plate is easily lifted so you can check your design at regular intervals to make sure everything stays where it's meant to be. In the past we've had textiles artists creating up to 6 designs at the same time!
