Mail Order Operating As Usual. Orders can be placed online.

We are currently only answering the phone when we have staff available in the office. If you get a message that we are not taking calls this is why.
In order to make most efficient use of staff time we ask that all inquiries are made by email to

Delivery: We are no longer offering our Priority Next Day Service. Please be aware that orders may take longer to arrive than normal.

We have reopened our Wholesale deliveries to registered customers. Some items are available in limited amounts to ensure stock is fairly distributed, and will be highlighted when added to your cart.

Ashford Equipment: Most Ashford equipment will be shipped within a few days of ordering, however this is not a guarantee. We are holding stock but replacement deliveries to us are subject to possible delay.
Please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery in exceptional circumstances.

Kromski Equipment: We are selling Kromski equipment, though stocks are limited and again we ask to allow up to 3 weeks for delivery in exceptional circumstances.

The shop at Wentworth is closed to visitors and over the counter sales. Please do not come to visit as you will not be permitted to enter the premises. This is to protect our staff and to ensure that we're able to continue to operate our mail order service as normal.

Woolfest: This event has been cancelled by the organisers. Full details can be found at

Handspinning Courses with Ruth Gough: We have cancelled all courses here at Wentworth up to and including August. In September we'll asses the situation. We'll be trying to contact all participants but if you haven't heard from us please do give us a call.

Due to the current situation we have taken the decision to close the shop at Wentworth to visitors and counter sales. We're  taking this measure in order to protect our staff and customers, as well as to ensure that we can continue to offer the same level of service to our mail order customers.

Please do not come to visit us at the shop.

We'll continue to operate our mail order side of the business as normal. Orders can be placed either online or over the phone.

Obviously this is not something that we wanted to do; we've always maintained that the best way to shop fibres is by getting hands-on, but unfortunately "hands-on" is something that society is trying to avoid at the moment.

Please keep an eye on the website and our social media pages. We'll be assessing the situation each day, and will be keeping everyone up to date as best we can.
