For the last 3 years the Wingham team have been bringing a massive range of fibres equipment and bits and pieces to Cockermouth. It takes a team of six of us to run the stand so preparation begins quite early in the year. We are now packing and stashing stock away ready to take, two vanloads and two cars full.

Proposed stock list, we cannot take all we sell so we try and have the more popular and the more interesting and perhaps a few new items to tempt the buyers. We will probably have;

Range, repeatable, of 125 dyed merino wool tops. We will have most of the colours £2.50 per 100gms

Range of non repeatable merino colours £2.00 per 100gm

Merino silk blends

Carded batts, merino blends, grey Norwegian blends  £12.50 per 500gms batt

Kromski wheels and looms. All display wheels/looms to be sold at 10% discount, collection 3pm Saturday. Also one flood damaged unfinished symphony wheel, sold as seen.

Hand carders, should have some of our seconds at bargain prices, which we saved for Woolfest. Perfect card cloth just cosmetic damage to the backs.

Card cloth, cheap seconds with the odd tooth missing. We produce several hundred metres per year so get a few imperfections.

Shoe lasts and Hat blocks

Lots of fibres, from our massive range of types, sample packs and larger

Lots of fibres at good prices, discontinued types and bargain bags. We recently cleared out the fibres from a closing down spinning mill and have some bargain bags of fibres.

Selection bags of wool fibres, white and naturals, 5 to a bag £2.50

Needle punch fabric (prefelt)

Needle punch needles.

Specialist yarns in many natural fibres.

Landscape Originals dyes 32 colour range. We may also have the Landscape Elements range in stock if the shipment arrives.
