GlaraMara Masterclass

The Glaramara Centre is an independent  outdoor and residential courses centre. The courses are directly run by Wingham Wool Work, the centre provides the accommodation. We describe the centre as high quality student style accomodation. Individual or twin rooms each with washbasin, toilets and showers nearby. Meals prepared by Chefs who produce top quality food with a choice of starters, main and sweet courses each day. Waitress service at evening meals. The centre has a large comfortable lounge with log fire and adjacent small bar area. We consider that all your needs are well catered for. An added bonus is that mobile phones do not get a signal in this part of the valley.

We have now used the Glaramara centre for over 5 years for textile courses and have received many positive comments from participants. Both about the quality of accommodation and the quality of Wingham Wool Work courses. Students have departed from courses full of new ideas, have been well looked after and made many new textile friends.

These courses are all tutored by feltmakers who are noted experts in there own specialist area. Each year we programme courses to enable participants to work with highly skilled teachers.  Our policy of having an all inclusive fee with no hidden extras for materials or accommodation combined with the quality of tuition makes these courses highly valued.
