Tussah SilkThere are 18 products.

This silk is produced from the coccoon of the Tussah moth. Originating in China, the moth is not intensively farmed in order to produce silk, instead relying on the collection of coccoons from the wild. In some areas plantations are grown in order to encourage the moths to gather in specific areas, making their collection much easier.
The dyed silks are all ready to spin or felt. You may have found that hand dyed tussah goes hard. Our silks are carefully dyed and softened to make them very easy to handle.

Like all silks, Tussah will not felt on its own.
