 A perfect blend of natural white 28 micron wool, a good quality budget wool for feltmaking, spinning and dyeing. Special bulk buyer price.

Brown/grey 28 micron merino A good wool for base felting or needlepunch figure work £55 per 5 kilos
Carded white merino skirtings The parts of fine merino fleeces that are taken off when the fleece is sorted after clipping. These parts are removed because they are marked/stained. It is still fine quality wool. When carded it produces a definite off white shade which reduces its value. Good for dyeing or jobs where it forms the backing of a felt piece. sold out may be more coming in for us to card
Cashmere carded mid brown This is a fine quality dehaired cashmere carded. As carded fibre it is a mix of short and long fibre which is suitable for woolen spinning with slight debris. A good price for any feltmaker who wants to produce a cashmere blend felt. Exceptional value for this quality of cashmere. £4.00 per 100gms

We sometimes have items that have been damaged in transit which have had minor repairs or need minor repairs. These we tend not to list as they should really be seen by the purchaser calling at Wentworth.

Items offered for sale are either ex display or have been used in our classes for a short period of time. Each is individually described. Wheels and looms are fully functioning with all the original parts. Ex display means that they have been on show at workshops/exhibitions and may have been demonstrated. They may have bits of fibre on them and light finger marking. The condition they would be if you had used them for half a day.
