Merino 70s have now replaced the 64s range. This is our policy to bring the best quality fibres to handspinners and feltmakers at the best prices but quality comes first in our supplies. You may find cheaper types being sold elsewhere but please always compare quality in relation to price and continuity of supply.
For Felting and Handspinning
Our 125 colourfast shades of dyed merino are perfect for many fibre crafts, including both spinning and felting. We have recently "upgraded" the quality from 64's to 70's..This number refers to the traditional Bradford Count, a popular method for stating quaility throughout the world of textiles. This equates to a fibre diameter of 21 microns.
Stock levels
Due to the very large quantity of shades we sell, occasionally we may not have the particular
shade you want in stock. To avoid delay in your order please state if you would be happy to receive a close colour
match by stating; “accept substitutes”. This will mean your order is sent out without undue delay. Our dyers are producing hundreds of kilos each week for us in the 125 shade range and our predictions and orders dont always match up so colours can be out of stock for a few days whilst we catch up.

Mixed Colour Packs - A mixed bag of various colours. Great if you don't require a specific colour or want to experiment with your own blends! This list is only suggested combinations for purchase through the cart. If you would like any other mix please contact us by phone, fax or email to discuss your needs. Any combinations in any weights over 250gms are possible.
