Wild Fibres
Wild fibres are a new product range unique to us that we are developing for handspinners and perhaps feltmakers. We have had these on sale in the shop and at shows and workshops for the last 12 months as we have introduced them to customers. Ruth has run workshops on the spinning of these blends with great success.
Customers have asked us to make them more available and now it's time for everyone to get at them!
If you want to produce art yarns these are the mixes for you. We have taken wool and silk and a few other bits and pieces and blended them together to give a good mix. They are not carded, just put through our blending machinery so that you can spin them as they are for a really textured blend. You can even put them through your drum or hand carders to produce a more regular mix.
Each colour is made to a recipe but there will be batch variations so please order enough for your project.
