Being the only handspinners and feltmakers who blend their own fibres in the Uk we have the knowledge to know what is required in a blend to be good for handspinning and felting. Over the 36 years we have been in business its good to see that many of our blends have been copied around the world, proof that they are perfect for the job. If you have your own idea for a blend contact us to discuss the possibility. We only need to make a minimum of 500gms
Produced entirely in-house at Wentworth, all our blends are put together using the same high quality fibres we sell in the shop. Because we work with these fibre from day-to-day we know what will work in a blend and what won't, so you can be guaranteed that all our standards have been tried and tested over many years. We work with older design Yorkshire built Gill boxes to comb the fibres. These have fine set combs and run a bit slower than more modern machines producing a well blended finish without fibre damage.
